Membership is restricted to scentists and other professsionals (retired or active) in government, universities and NGO institutions who are presently - or have been engaged in the past - in tsunami related work. Graduate or undergraduate students and all others interested in the Science of Tsunami Hazards may also apply for Associate Membership.
Membership includes access to the Society's recent issues of the International Journal SCIENCE OF TSUNAMI HAZARDS on the web and a CD of previous issues, if requested. Registration Fees for Tsunami Symposiums are reduced to half for Tsunami Society members and associate members. Members may also publish in the TSUNAMI SOCIETY's International Journal SCIENCE OF TSUNAMI HAZARDS (free of page charges) one paper per calendar year - if approved by the Editorial Board.
Membership shall date from January 1 of the year in which the applicant joins. Membership of an applicant applying on or after October 1 will begin with January 1 of the following calendar year and first dues payment will be applied to that year.

Subscription Information for SCIENCE OF TSUNAMI HAZARDS
TSUNAMI SOCIETY members receive electronic subscription to SCIENCE OF TSUNAMI HAZARDS as a part of the membership fee. Price per hard copy of an issue of Science of Tsunami Hazards is US $20 - which includes mailing cost. Upon request, paper copies will be provided to libraries of Institutional Members of the Tsunami Society (free of charge).
